I don’t know about you but Fall is my favorite time of the year. There are so many reasons I love Fall. We can talk about that another day. Today I wanna share some tips for staying cozy during the Autumn months.
This is one of my favorite ways to warm up both mid day and evening before bed. Two of my favorite flavours this time of hear are apple cinnamon and early gray vanilla.
This is a must have. As the cool crisp air returns snuggling with a blanket by the window with your tea is so relaxing.
Coffee is a must have unless you don’t drink coffee. A nice warm coffee is like a hug in a cup. Or ice coffee. However you like it. 💁♀️
This one is really great and good for kids too. Snuggle up with a spooky movie some blankets and a hot chocolate on a Friday night and you’re making core memories.
This one is not a personal fave. I have never been a huge fan of cider but I know people who absolutely love it and warming it up with a blanket is a whole vibe in itself.
With yourself, your spouse, your kids and your furry friends.
It’s not quite Flannel time but cozy jammies are a must have this time of year.
Comfy Sweats & Hoodies
I am a super fan of sweat pants and hoodies. Or jeans an hoodies. Leggings and hoodies. I love them all.
Okay so this is sooo stereotypical “high school in 2010 vibes” but I love those knock off uggs. The complete the vibe of casual but can be dressed up a bit or worn with track pants. They are super cozy. Then I love having a pair of fur lined rain boots.
You gotta be cozy from head to toe!
Fall scented candles
For the ambiance.
Fall themed warmer
My favorite one is the Whoot Scentsy warmer. It’s perfect all year round!
Read a book
I read a whole book in a couple weeks recently. I’m binging a new show then starting Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
Autumn themed bedding
This doesn’t mean you haveeee to get fall patterns or spend buckets of money. I like to keep it simple. In the spring and summer I have a minty green bed set. In the fall and winter I use a deep plum/purple.
Fall scavenger hunt
Bring in the outside: use pinecones and acorns from nature walks as decor.
Good for every season but extra special in cooler months to help create that sense of warmth.
There are many more ways to keep cozy and enjoy the fall season. If you have any ideas that aren’t of my list then go ahead and share them in the comments section below! I love hearing your ideas!
