10 things I love about Fall

Hello, Everyone! Welcome to my Blog! It’s fall 2023, and that brings great joy to me! It is such a beautiful time of year full of warmth and festivities! I wanted to take some time today to talk about a few of the things I love about fall!

The first thing I love about Fall is the weather changes! The air becomes so crisp and cool. It turns into the perfect weather for sweaters and jeans, snuggling up with your loved ones or a good book by the fireplace.

I can’t wait to make some hot chocolate, grab a blanket and watch some of my current binge worthy show before bed or a Halloween movie!

Another thing I love a good cup of warm coffee or hot chocolate, with autumn leaves from a beautiful walk in a park and a warm scarf.

Fall smells! Warm Brown Sugar, Pumpkin, Maple Cranberry, Apple, Cinnamon. It’s all just so warm and inviting!

I love fashion and one of the things I love about fall is the fall fashion changes. Fall sheds light to a whole new section of your wardrobe of big chunky sweaters, warm cozy pants, boots, and scarves and fuzzy socks. Scarves are the best! I love the big Cardigans and the sweater dresses! During Fall you don’t have to worry about sweating too much or being too cold! Unless it’s the afternoon in the early fall then be prepared for experiencing more then one season daily. #Canada

Fall is also the time for giving thanks with one of the most popular festive holidays of the year Thanksgiving! Some of the things I am thankful for this year are the people surrounding me, my beautiful daughter and my positive outlook on life. Some of the best things in life are the little, simple things like baking a batch of cookies or, going for a walk at the park!

I love the sound of leaves crunching under my feet as I walk.

I loved them as a kid and I’m loving them even more now as an adult, School Supplies! As a kid, I loved school supplies and all things crafty, stationary, and well… creative! With just a simple pencil and paper you can create anything in your wildest dreams. School supplies and stationary items are definitely one of the reasons I love the Fall and back to school season!

I love the color palette of Fall. Oranges and reds are everywhere, warm tones, earth tones, I love them all! Especially the reds and plums.

I love Seasonal Cooking. Warm and chunky stews, Pot Roats and Potatoes and, Hearty Soups! The baking too! Caramels, apples, cinnamon, and pumpkin, all such great flavors. Cooking in this time of year brings out seasonal vegetables like gourds and squashes. I can’t wait to start cooking in my beautiful kitchen!

Speaking of squashes and gourds, seasonal vegetables around this time of year try also double as great decor when arranged nicely. There are so many pretty ways to decorate during the fall season using other fall seasonal items too like leaves and pinecones!

Finally, the last thing I love about the Fall season is Halloween! I love love love everything about it! Love the goodies, I love the baking, the costumes, and the makeup, It’s all so amazing! One of the things I love being able to dress up for a day as something exciting! Looking at all the spookily decorated houses is so much fun and I love all the effort some people really put into it. It’s all about the kids! I love all of the Halloween movies! I’m so excited to start creating more traditions!
